Tombstone Tuesday: Lee Cemetery, Dudley Twp., Hardin Co., Ohio....More Spracklins

There are more Spracklen/lins buried in Lee Cemetery and they are descendants of Peter and Betty Spracklen.  I will post about Peter and Betty Spracklen in the near future on the blog:  Solomon Goss of Fearing Twp. in Ohio.  See the side of this blog for the link under my Blog List.

There is a William Spracklen who died 17 March 1886, age 10m23d s/o Z&J. Not sure about William's lineage but I am guessing that he might be a son of Lucius Alfred Spracklin and Sarah but the initials do not match and I cannot decipher the tombstone.

Milinda Jane Simon died 4 January 1878 age 34y10m17d w/o H.L. Melinda/Milinda was a sister to George P. Spracklen and they were children of Rev. Alfred and Abigail Spracklen. Do not seem to have her tombstone probably because she was a Simon and I missed her.  It happens.

George P. Spracklen born 24 Dec 1837 and died 22 January 1898 GAR.  George's tombstone worries me for it is split on the side.  Also listed is Rechel M. (Rachel) who died 4 May, 1840. His wife.

Minnie T. Spracklen died 9/21/1878 age 6y7m23d d/o G&R. She had a nickname of Minnett, I believe.

Charles O. Spracklen died 17 Sept 1872 age 6y4m3d s/o GP&RM

You can see that the years are wearing on these older stones and it is difficult to read them. There are many more stones in this cemetery but I think I have pretty much captured the ones that are associated with the Spracklen/lins in Lee Cemetery, if not please leave a comment.
