St. John's Cemetery, Winnipeg, Manitoba

There is another cemetery in Winnipeg that is special to me.  It is the St. John's Cemetery.  This cemetery is where my great grandparents Richard and Emma (Ward) Brown are buried along with other family members. I feature my grandparents on my blog:  The Boardmans and Browns of Winnipeg, A Canadian Story:  http://boardmanbrown.wordpress.com/

I have never visited St. John's Cemetery. The same researcher I hired to assist me in my genealogical quest provided these photographs.  He has given his permission to publish them.  Once again his name is Rick McLellan and he is active in the Manitoba Genealogical Society (MGS). http://www.mbgenealogy.com/index.php?page=mgs-record-searchers

This link explains the MGS's cemetery transcription process:  http://www.mbgenealogy.com/index.php?page=cemetery-transcriptions

On page 62 of one of the Manitoba Genealogical Societies publications of the cemeteries, Rick provided the information on my family.

St. John's Anglican Cathedral, 135 Anderson Avenue, City of Winnipeg, 122, Section 26, Row 1 starting with Waugh and Davies.  My family is at the end of the page:

Again Mr. McLellan was specific about the graves featuring them in the context of where they were in the cemetery:  The first photo has a great picture of the church.
